Hello again. A few weeks ago, my first ever book went off to print! No..I didn't write it unfortunately, so technically not 'my' book. A while ago, my classmate Callum Lewis and I embarked on what seemed like a massive task of redesigning This Slavery, actually written by Ethel Carnie Holdsworth. In short, the book is a feminist novel about mill workers in the north in 1920s Britain. Strangely, I really enjoyed sifting through pages and pages of text. Although it made my eyes hurt like hell, it was very therapeutic! Unfortunately, the cover design was limited as it needed to fit with the other publications by Trent Editions in Nottingham, but I will still be incredibly proud when its all bound and ready for sale!
